WoolOn 2010

We had a lovely night on Saturday night at the Alexandra Blossom Festival’s final event, the WoolOn creative fashion awards. Originally we were to sponsor the Young Designers Category but with a disappointing one entry for that category (fortunately she won a prize from CRT for her effort) we ended-up being joint sponsor of the Supreme Award along with the Alexandra Blossom Festival Committee.

It was a very simple affair lacking the pizzazz of former years but at least the Committee held true to their promise of taking the festival back-to-basics. It was great to see the Chair of the committee recognise that it was the people of Alexandra (and environs) rallying behind the festival that made it a success this year. Long may that last!
